It's been eons since geri and I caught up like this. Although we both fell asleep hahaha. Next time we'll find something better to watch.
Bullshit802 is driving me crazy. I have no idea how to start and whatever I've written sounds weird no matter how I look at it. WHY did I even take this module to begin with, somebody enlighten me please. So many things to do, so little time. Test, assignments, essays, headache headache headache.
Was at the US embassy today for my visa interview. Another step closer to the US. But somehow, the closer I get to the date of departure, the more the excitement diminishes. Law of diminishing marginal returns hurhur. I really do want to go, but there'll be so many people I'll miss, most of all my mum. However, the prospect of visiting the Big Apple and seeing my grandma is really quite appealing, so it kind of balances out. Anyhoo, I'm planning to make the most of the trip, it's prob going to be the only time I get to move around for such a long period of time on my own. Whoohoo Mickey here I come! (:

Hello again after a brief, brief respite. Just had my first sighting of a family of wild boars a little less than an hour ago. I was on my usual midnight jaunt with my roommate, and we were along the road behind NIE. Heard some weird noises on the other side of the road where the forest lies, turned our heads, lo and behold, a family of 5. Maybe 6. They weren't as big as I thought. But couldn't be sure, too busy running for our lives for fear they charge across the road and towards us. It was too dark to really see anyway. Besides, both of us don't know how to climb trees, so better just run faster haha! For some strange reason, they were trotting along in single file. 'twas really quite exciting and because they were on the other side of the road, they looked quite cute and harmless. Like Porky Pig.
Also, major shopping trip today. Skipped lecture, not good, and went to town. But hey, it IS Chinese New Year and I hadn't bought anything prior to today. Classic case of 'shop till you drop'. Town was mad crowded, almost as bad as Christmas, with everyone doing last min shopping. Fitting room queues were long and the paying queue was even longer. V happy with my loot. But never, never, ever, again.
